Monthly Pub Tales Contest

Story Readings: Wednesday, Febuary 23rd 7pm
At Hedge House

We've unveiled the second photo of our monthly "Pub Tales" contest. How does it work? You visit Hedge House and find the featured photo. Then you make up a story about the photo - the story is to be comprised of 100 words or less and will be judged on creativity.

On February 23 at 7 pm, everyone is invited to gather to read their story - the winner will be announced that night. Winner's receive their story matted and framed with the photo to hang in the pub, a Lompoc T-shirt, gift certificate, and the opportunity to tell their tale on the Beer O'Clock radio show on KXL.

January's winner was P.W. (Bill) Miller, whose story, Rugby Rules, was a fantastic tale told almost entirely through the dialog between a grandfather and grandson. Look for a new old photo the first of every month. Cheers!
